Follow the four steps below — no specialist tools required. Most UK customers complete a single feature wall in 2 to 3 hours.
Measure & mark
Use a tape measure and spirit level. Mark vertical guidelines on a dry, dust-free wall (brick, plasterboard, concrete or battens).
Cut to size
If trimming, use a fine-toothed handsaw across the slats and a sharp Stanley knife to slice the felt. Always wear a mask and goggles.
Fix to the wall
Apply high-grab cladding adhesive in a zig-zag pattern, or use 38 mm black drywall screws through the felt at 200 mm intervals.
Finish the edges
Slot the next panel's felt lip beneath the previous slat — joins disappear. Finish exposed edges with a matching walnut end trim.

How does one panel cover a whole wall?
Our panel measures 2700 mm tall × 1100 mm wide — that is 2.97 m² in a single piece. A standard UK living-room feature wall (around 3 m wide × 2.5 m tall = 7.5 m²) typically needs just 3 of our panels versus 6–7 standard 240×60 cm panels. Fewer joins, faster install, cleaner finish.
Is delivery really free across the UK?
Yes — UK Mainland (England, Wales and most of Scotland) delivery is free on every panel. Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands incur a small surcharge calculated at checkout. We dispatch within 48 hours and most orders arrive within 2–5 working days.
Will it actually reduce noise — or is it just decorative?
Both. The black felt backing provides a sound absorption coefficient of α 0.30, which softens echo and reverberation — perfect for media walls, home offices and open-plan rooms. For studio-grade absorption, install on 45 mm battens with mineral-wool infill and the rating rises significantly.
Can I cut the panel to fit my wall?
Absolutely. Use a fine-toothed handsaw across the wooden slats and a sharp Stanley knife to slice the felt cleanly. The felt lip on one edge is designed to interlock with the next panel — so trim from the opposite side to preserve invisible joins.
Is it suitable for bathrooms or kitchens?
Not for bathrooms, shower areas, or any damp/humid environment — the MDF core and felt are not waterproof. Kitchens are fine away from sinks and hobs (avoid direct steam and water splash zones).
Can I install over wallpaper?
Yes — but use 38 mm black drywall screws into the substrate behind the wallpaper. Adhesive on wallpaper is unreliable, as wallpaper paste cannot guarantee the bond strength needed for the panel weight.
What if I'm not happy with the order?
Inspect on delivery — any damage or defect should be reported within 14 days. Unused panels in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund.
Are the panels FSC / sustainably sourced?
Yes. The wood veneers are sourced from responsibly managed forests aligned with FSC chain-of-custody standards. The MDF core uses E1-grade low-emission resin.
